Dr. Farshad Badie

I'm the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) and a Research Fellow at Global University Systems (GUS). I hold a PhD in Human-Centered Communication and Informatics from Aalborg University (AAU), Denmark, where my research centered on cognitive logic, information science, and symbolic AI in human–human–machine interaction systems.

In the context of higher education, my professional journey centers on researching and addressing complex socio-technical challenges. As a developer of student-centred learning and knowledge-construction models, I'm passionate about shaping future-ready learning environments. My work is dedicated to strategic solutions that support learning development through intelligent—human-aware—systems. I believe in the transformative power of Human-Centred Informatics and strive to create meaningful frameworks that enhance the synergy between humans and machines.

My research explores how human beings—logically, cognitively, and strategically—interconnect with one another and with artificial agents to share information and collaboratively construct knowledge.
