To become an Active Member you must be a paying member of our local union FARSCCD & CTA.
If you are not a part of FARSCCD & CTA, then you will need to join both in order to be eligible to participate in the election. You may join both via our website: https://farsccd.org/join/
If you are already a CTA member at another district, then you will need to join FARSCCD in order to be eligible to participate in the election. You may join FARSCCD via our website: https://farsccd.org/join/

"The chapter president must provide all Active Members an opportunity to vote." - 2019 FARSCCD Bylaws, page 6 (Section XIII. Nominations and Elections).
"All active members must have an opportunity to vote. 1. Active members who are off-track or on a dues paying leave shall be notified by mail/email in order to provide them an opportunity and right to vote. 2. Active members on association/affiliate business may request a ballot by mail/email." - 2023-24 CTA Procedures & Requirements for Chapters & Service Center Councils, page 6 (Section XI. Voting Methods, A).
"All vote requirements shall be established in accordance with CTA guidelines. Unless otherwise specified, all elections shall be decided by majority vote. Write-in votes are valid and must be counted. A. Majority means more than half of the legal votes cast for any candidate or issue on the ballot. B. Plurality means the largest number of votes cast for any candidate or issue." - 2023-24 CTA Procedures & Requirements for Chapters & Service Center Councils, page 9 (Section XII. Voting Requirement).

Yes, a write-in provision for each office/position will be provided on the ballot. - 2023-24 CTA Procedures & Requirements for Chapters & Service Center Councils, page 6 (Section X. Ballot, C, 5).

Check you Junk or Spam Folder:
If you incorrectly marked an email as spam, you can remove an email from Spam. General steps are shown below but you can search for directions for your specific email subscription: Open your spam folder. Open a Simply Voting email. Report as not spam.
Make sure you resubscribe to Simply Voting in order to receive your ballots.
Electors that unsubscribed or reported an email blast message as spam may resubscribe by simply sending an email message to resubscribe@simplyvoting.com .
You may want to doublecheck your CTA Profile information. Your ballot is being emailed to the email address found in your CTA Profile.
