Longwood Connacht Gold (Jack) was bred by the Meehan's in Ireland and imported to the USA as a four year old.

Jack has a puppy dog personality. He is a compact and athletic horse and very willing to please his rider. He is currently schooling 1st/2nd level dressage and has completed in one schooling show so far, which he won. He is very sweet and easy to jump.  

Jack is by Longwood Dunbelievable out of a Mountain Pearl mare.

Free On-Site Insemination
Mares being breed to Farraway Stud stallions are welcome to come to the stud to be inseminated. There is no charge for insemination. Mare board fees will apply if the mare is to remain here overnight.

Deferred Stud Fee

Farraway Stud stallions operate on a deferred stud fee contract. This means you do not pay the stud fee until you have a positive pregancy check. Once the pregnancy is confirmed and the stud fee is paid, a two year LFG is in place in case you lose the foal after the pregnancy check. - Contracts are transferrable - if your mare doesn't take and you want to try another mare that is fine so long as we are informed. - Generally, you can switch between our stallions (as availability allows) so if you have a contract with one Farraway Stud stallion. Our stallions can also ship in BEYOND extender for an additional $70 added to the $350 collection and shipping fee.
