On February 4, our team participated in the National STEM Expo, organized by the Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology (SCWIST). The event brought together students, educators, innovators, and startups from across Ontario for a full day of hands-on STEM activities and exploration.
At our booth, we showcased Farname-Diagnosis’ vision for accessible, rapid point-of-care diagnostics and engaged with curious students eager to learn about biosensors, early cancer detection, and careers in science. We were pleased to meet and speak with Nolan Quinn, Minister of College and University, during the event.
Participating in the expo was a wonderful opportunity to share our work, inspire future scientists, and connect with a vibrant STEM community. We look forward to continuing our outreach efforts and contributing to a stronger and more inclusive scientific ecosystem in Ontario.
