Hi and welcome to the Farmstand at Stairet Farms. My name is Michelle Stairet and I am the baker behind the Farmstand. A few years back I began a sourdough starter, and after some struggles to get it going, I began baking sourdough bread. I had discovered a bread option that appeased my gluten sensitivity and an option that my husband and kids loved too. What started as something for my family quickly turned into a passion project. I eagerly shared loaves with family, friends, and neighbors and then got the wild idea that maybe I could begin selling them in our community. In the early spring of 2025 I spent every free moment building our Farmstand. I followed up with obtaining a cottage permit through the state. In the Farmstand you will find fresh baked sourdough breads and other sourdough based baked goods as well as cookies and sweet treats. Along with these items you will find unwashed farm fresh eggs from our chickens, surplus produce from our gardens, and seasonal flower bouquets and vases. We are so pleased you found our page and invite you to come visit us at the Farmstand. Surely you will find something fresh from our farm and likely be greeted by one of our kids.
