By downloading, installing, or using the Farmio mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Farmio is a mobile application designed to assist farmers and agricultural professionals by providing tools for field management, expense tracking, weather forecasting, and AI-driven plant health and yield analysis. The App operates primarily as a localized offline tool with specific internet-dependent features (such as AI analysis).

3. No Account Required

Using Farmio does not require you to create an account. Your field data, financial records, and activity histories are stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for backing up your device, as uninstalling the App or clearing its data will result in the permanent loss of your records.

4. AI Predictions and Disclaimers (Important)

Farmio integrates artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to provide pest analysis, disease detection, and harvest yield estimates.

By using these features, you acknowledge that:

• Not Professional Advice: AI-generated results are estimates and suggestions based on visual data and general farming models. They do not substitute professional agricultural, biological, or chemical consulting.

• Accuracy is Not Guaranteed: The AI may produce incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate results. Always verify the findings with a certified agricultural engineer before applying pesticides, fertilizers, or making critical financial decisions.

• No Liability: Farmio and its creators are not liable for any crop loss, financial damage, or environmental harm resulting from actions taken based on the App's AI recommendations or yield forecasts.

5. User Responsibilities

When using Farmio, you agree to:

• Use the App for lawful agricultural and personal purposes.

• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or API keys from the application or its proxy servers.

• Not upload malicious files, deepfakes, or non-agricultural images intended to manipulate or overload the AI proxy systems.

6. Third-Party Services and APIs

The App relies on external APIs, including but not limited to Google Gemini AI, Cloudflare Workers, Open-Meteo, Nominatim, and SoilGrids.

• Farmio does not guarantee the continuous uptime or availability of these third-party services.

• If third-party services experience outages, the AI analysis, weather, and estimation features of Farmio may be temporarily unavailable.

7. Intellectual Property

Farmio, including its original code, designs, UI elements, and brand identity, remains the intellectual property of its developers. You may not distribute, modify, or sell the App without explicit permission.

8. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any feature within it) at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Terms of Use. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
