Over the next three decades, the farm evolved in to what is now a destination location. Four generations of customers now enjoy the many festivals and events held throughout the year, making the farm a place where many families create memories.

We let our fruit ripen on the tree, not in a warehouse. Our expert team picks only the ripest fruit, returning to each tree several times each season. Before harvest, we test sugar content to ensure you enjoy the tastiest fruit anywhere.

We optimize our harvest and find a home for all the fruit we grow, so the precious resources used to produce it are not wasted. By utilizing our overripe and cosmetically challenged fruit in our dried fruit, fruit conserves and award winning pastries, we keep tens of thousands of pounds of our legendary fruit from going to waste each year.

Blue Fruit Farm is located at an intentional community in Southeastern Minnesota, Wiscoy Valley Community Land Cooperative. Our land has been organic since 1975. Blue Fruit Farm was started by Joyce Ford and Jim Riddle in 2008. Our farm overlooks a stunning microclimate known as Wiscoy Valley, surrounded by forest and native prairie. This diversity fosters a bountiful population of busy pollinators.

A Garden Chat with Janis Norton. -Did you know that plants and trees need to eat every day, but we are taught to plant them in the dirt you have and feed/fertilize them once or twice a year. THAT is NOT a recipe for success. Join Greg & Janis as they share the pathway they discovered over the past 24 years to make our fruit trees, and other trees and plants for that matter thrive!

A Rosie on the House Radio Show. This is the Aug 2023 show replay. Join Greg as he discusses fruit trees and picking the right one for you. Learn how to understand the value (what you should be paying for a tree) along with the three important success factors. While this is primarily a conversation about low desert varieties there is a bunch of great information for where ever you live

We meet Dr. Dee Stevens, one of group of friends who took an idea about harvesting fruit easier and safer, and created a product that is innovative and simple to use. They worked through several designs until they came up with one they loved. Greg learns how they came up with the idea, how they navigated through some of the challenges of fruit harvesting, and ended up with a patented solution that backyard orchardists can really appreciate.

A Garden Chat with Zach Loeks. This month we will chat with our friend and author Zach Loeks about his tips and tricks for getting the most out of your garden. He is willing to share some of what he learned managing his award-winning farm.

So I bought all fruit trees at winter year one and where wondering to put it. My plan is to plant it in to the bottom left of the forest farm where hardwood spawns. My question is will it grow if I put all the trees in there? Also will the trees grow on winter? Is the hardwood still going to spawn if I plant it there? Thanks in advance!

The Miracle Fruit Farm is the nation's leading distributor of fresh miracle fruit berries and miracle fruit products. The fruit has a special glycoprotein called miraculin that only allows sweet sensations to be transmitted to the brain, and they can even mask the metallic flavor food gets after a chemo treatment.

Many heirloom varieties of fruit trees are being bred out of existence and once extinct they are gone forever. At Heritage Farm & Fruit Trees, we are passionate about preserving these special trees so you and future generations can enjoy them.

Our goal is to empowering consumers like you to experience a world of variety and flavors. We are committed to bringing heirloom fruits and vegetables to a market currently dominated by a select few choices.

We believe in giving you choice.

The mass market food industry limits the variety of fruits and vegetables available to the consumer. We want to do away with that and make hundreds, if not thousands, of heirloom varieties available with ease.

In 2005 we expanded our business with the purchase of more farmland, adding more peach, plum, blackberry, and blueberry varieties that will come off in 2008 and 2009. In 2006 we added our own jams, jellies, fruit spreads, preserves, syrups, fruit butters , and hand-crafted baskets of all types. We hope to continue to grow and expand the orchard and farm to give you and your family a great farm experience filled with treasured memories.

Oakwood Fruit Farm was started in the early 1900's by Albert Louis. The farm sits among the ridges and coulees almost directly east of Richland Center. The soils are fertile and the topography allows cold air to drain from the ridges where trees are planted. The family orchard was continued and expanded when Bill Louis joined the operation in 1935.

We hope you will come to our rural Richland Center Fruit Farm to see our 180 acres of orchards apple trees and vineyards. We think some of our newest blocks of trees are the most interesting, and would challenge you to stop in to our rural Richland Center Fresh Fruit Farm and find out for yourself! Also, stop in and check out our Apple Retail Shop for fresh fruit, gift baskets and other gift ideas.

We have many great farms that offer pick-your-own crops in Massachusetts. We start the year with strawberries, then blueberries and raspberries, and peaches in the summer. We then move into the Fall with our #1 tradition of picking apples, and then run into pumpkins in October. Don't forget, you can also pick out a fresh Christmas tree to finish out the year.

*The availability for each of these crops may vary from year to year, especially due to weather. So, it's always a good idea to call ahead to the farm you want to visit to check on picking conditions.

It's fun, great exercise, and you can't get any fresher than U-Pick/Pick-Your-Own!

1) Al's is a 47 year, 3rd generation, American family owned business. We strive to grow, harvest, pack and ship the highest quality, local, Florida fruit. Al's proudly features more local citrus varieties than anyone in the Indian River growing region.

2) It all starts in the field with meticulous grove care. My youngest son Matt, shares my passion for growing healthy trees. My friend Mark rounds out my grove team having 3 generations of local citrus grower experience.

Gentle, careful harvesting by Fernando is essential in the field. Next it's up to our experienced packinghouse team to make absolutely sure your fruit is carefully inspected! Each Navel, Honeybell and Ruby Red is checked a minimum of 8 times prior to packing.

My wife Sharon even takes the extra time to help make gift basket bows by hand and makes every batch of fudge herself!

Note- Matt graduated in 2019 from FL Southern College with his Citrus degree and now works fulltime at Al's Family Farms.

As for me- I'm responsible for supervising crop selection, growing, harvesting, washing, waxing & grading of virtually every piece of fruit we pick.

Why do we control everything? It's simple. Less mistakes. That's why we're able to back every shipment with our 100% No Nonsense guarantee. Grandpa Al wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Our core belief is that good business and good fruit thrive at the intersection of people and planet. When we create sustainable and socially responsible solutions the environment flourishes, we grow great fruit and people and communities prosper.

Our founders planted their very first fruit back in 1980. Since then, our farm has become vertically integrated as a grower, packer, and shipper dedicated to valuing our employees and creating a positive working environment.

We are dependent on the environment in which we live and work and we are passionate about caring for and cultivating the land which provides our valued fruit. Year over year, we measure our environmental sustainability, specifically looking at our use of energy (renewable and non-renewable), water, chemical usage and recycling efforts.

Located in Belchertown, Massachusetts, a short drive from the town of Amherst, Phoenix Fruit Farm is a scenic 103-acre farm. Our apples, peaches, and strawberries are sold through pick-your-own at our farm.
