Semester I of The Farm-Able Project consisted of two main activities:
Training participants in sustainable agriculture systems for aquaponics, poultry farming and rabbit rearing
Installing food production systems at the three learning centers for Persons with Disabilities
The students and instructional staff for agriculture at the Challenor Creative Arts & Learning Centre were trained on how to install and maintain an aquaponic system. They also expanded their small rabbitry and received training on proper nutrition and care for their rabbits.
The Ann Hill school also worked with aquaponics.
