Research
Our lab aims to promote health and well-being of older adults and their family members of all ages by uncovering
How the “linked lives” in our life course affect each other and
How these close relationships influence our health and well-being over time.
To achieve this research aim, our lab focuses on three broad factors - Perceptions, Behaviors, and Social Interactions.
How to adjust individual and family members’ perceptions about their physical, psychological, and social status or relationships
How to strengthen individuals’ interactions with family and others, and stay involved in their communities
How to change or maintain health and life style behaviors that lead to better outcomes
