Thank you for playing Farkle We built this game to be **offline-first and privacy-friendly**. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

## Summary (the short version)

- The App is a **single-player, offline** dominoes game. You do not create an account, and you do not need to sign in.

- We do **not** collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or location.

- Your game progress, settings, coins, and cosmetics are stored **only on your device**.

- We use **Google AdMob** to show ads and **the App Store / Google Play billing** for the optional one-time Pro purchase. These third parties may process limited data (such as an advertising identifier) as described below.

- You can play the game, and (on iOS) you are asked for permission before any tracking-related advertising identifier is used.

## 1. Information We Collect

### Information stored on your device only

The App saves the following locally using your device's standard app storage. This data **never leaves your device** and is not sent to us:

- Game progress and saved matches (so you can resume a game)

- Settings and preferences (theme, board style, language, sound, haptics, etc.)

- Your in-game display name and chosen avatar

- Coins, owned cosmetics, and Pro status

- Statistics, achievements, and completed challenges

- The general time of day you usually open the App, used to schedule an optional local daily reminder (see "Notifications" below)

If you uninstall the App, this locally stored data is removed by your device's operating system.

### Information we do **not** collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit to our own servers any personal information, account credentials, contacts, precise or approximate location, photos, files, or biometric data. The App has no user accounts and no cloud sync.

## 2. Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements through **Google AdMob** (a Google service). To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process certain information, which can include a mobile **advertising identifier** (Google Advertising ID on Android, or IDFA on iOS), device and diagnostic information, coarse location inferred from IP address, and interaction with ads.

- **iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT):** On iOS, the App presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Personalized advertising that relies on tracking is only used if you grant permission. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

- **Consent (UMP):** Where required (for example, in the EEA/UK), the App shows Google's consent form so you can make choices about personalized advertising.

- **Buying Pro removes ads.** If you purchase the one-time Pro upgrade, ads are disabled.

## 3. In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional one-time **Pro** purchase that removes ads. Purchases are processed entirely by **Apple App Store** or **Google Play** billing. We do **not** receive or store your name, card number, or other payment details — those are handled by the app store under its own privacy policy.

The App uses the store's "restore purchases" feature so you can restore Pro on a device where you previously purchased it.

## 4. Notifications

If you enable the optional **Daily Reminder**, the App schedules a **local notification** on your device to remind you to play. The App learns the time of day you usually open it (stored only on your device) so the reminder arrives at a convenient time. These notifications are generated on your device — no reminder data is sent to us or to any server. You can turn reminders off at any time in **Settings**, or in your device's system notification settings.

## 5. In-App Ratings and App Updates

- **Ratings:** The App may occasionally invite you to rate it using the operating system's native review prompt (Apple/Google). We do not see your rating or review through this prompt; it is handled by the app store.

- **Updates:** The App may check the app store to see whether a newer version is available and, if so, show an in-app "Update Available" message. This uses the store's public version information and does not identify you.

## 6. How We Use Information

Because game data stays on your device, we use it only to provide the game experience — saving your progress, applying your settings, tracking achievements, scheduling your chosen reminder, and enabling purchases. Third-party services (AdMob and app store billing) use data as described in their own privacy policies for advertising, payment processing, and fraud prevention.

We do not sell your personal information.

## 7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age required by your local law (for example, under 13 in the United States, or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising is configured to request ad content appropriate for the App's audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service, please contact us and we will assist where possible.

## 8. Your Choices and Rights

- **Advertising identifier:** You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (iOS: *Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising*; Android: *Settings → Privacy → Ads*).

- **Tracking permission (iOS):** You can change the App's tracking permission at any time in *Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking*.

- **Notifications:** Turn the daily reminder on or off in the App's Settings or in your device's notification settings.

- **Delete your data:** Because all game data is stored locally, you can remove it by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, deletion, or objection) under laws like the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California). Since we do not collect personal information on our own servers, most such requests relate to data held by the third-party services above; you may contact those providers directly, or contact us and we will help direct your request.

## 9. Data Security

Your game data is protected by your device's built-in security. Information handled by AdMob and the app stores is protected under those providers' security measures. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we design the App to minimize the data involved by keeping it on your device.

## 10. International Users

The App can be used worldwide. Any limited data processed by Google (AdMob) or the app stores may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, in accordance with those providers' policies and applicable safeguards.

## 11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App or the store listing. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
