My name is Fariz Ikhwantri; I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simula Research Laboratory. I graduated from my PhD at the Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing Lab (Tokunaga Lab.), Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, Tokyo Institute of Technology. Working on Eye-gaze Analysis for the Interpretability of the NLP task. I also completed my Master's degree at the same lab and department in 2021
I was also doing NLP research at Kata.ai, a Conversational AI startup that builds a dialogue system as a platform, where I contribute on building and training NLP models for Information Extraction tasks like NER and Part-of-Speech Tagging (POS) and Semantic Role Labelling for Indonesian. I got my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitas Indonesia.
