Diabetic Retinopathy and LBP feature

Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is one of the leading causes of blindness, affecting over 93 million people across the world. DR is an eye condition linked to diabetes. Early detection and grading of DR would aid in preventing irreversible vision loss. Automated identification and grading during retinal screening would provide a helpful second opinion. This script implements the 2D wavelet transform and extracts LBP features to detect diabetic retinopathy.
