Information:

This year Far From Over Farm is offering several week long summer camps during June, July, and a weekend camp in August.

Camp runs Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 5:30pm.

Our camps are open to children ages 7 to 16.

** Children do not have to be experienced with riding or horse care. **

For all riding portions campers are grouped based on level of experience so that each may get the most out of the lessons.

Sample of camp activities:

Please keep in mind the topics or activities can vary slightly depending on the camp size, ages, and experience levels.

- Group riding lessons everyday.

- Group trail rides, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday.

- Paint the ponies day, always a hit, the campers use non-toxic paint to finger paint the camp horses with a theme of their imagination.

- Costume day, campers come prepared to dress themselves and horses up.

- Learn basic horse and stable care. Includes grooming, providing water, feeding hay, cleaning a stall, feeding grain, sweeping, turning out and bringing horses in from fields safely, and other activities that go into taking care of a horse or pony.

- Get to experience both English and Western styles of riding.

- Games on horse back.

- Unmounted games.

- Pizza party on Friday.

- Arts and crafts.

Kids should wear jeans or jodphurs, closed toe shoes or boots.

They must bring a packed lunch with them daily, except for Friday's pizza party. Sunscreen is recommended, as well as a water bottle.

Summer camps price is $230.00 for full day/all 5 days. For half days it's only $115.00, all 5 days.

The overnight weekend camp is $85.00.

We require a deposit of $80.00 for the weekday summer camp, and a $30.00 deposit for the weekend camp.
