Fareshare is a ride sharing platform that connects multiple users going to the same place at the same time so that they can split the fare on any ride hailing platforms of their choice.

Collecting and Using Your Personnel Data

Data Collected

• Email: we collect their email so that they can use it to have access to their account and we are not sharing user emails to any third parties.

• Username: we collect their username so that other passengers like them can see it and no we are not sharing their username to any third parties.

• Phone Number: we collect their phone number so that other passengers like them can be able to reach out to them and no we are not sharing their phone number to any third parties.

• Image: we collect their image so that other passengers like them can see who they are before accepting to join a ride with them and we are not also sharing their image to any third parties.

• Favourite routes: we collect their favourites route so that we can show them a list of rides going their way and also get notifications when someone post a ride that they is going their way and we are not also sharing their favourite routes to any third parties.

• Nin (national identification number): we collect users nin so that they can be marked as a verified user on the platform and we are also not sharing their nin to any third parties.

• Messages: their is a chatting feature where they can chat with a fellow passenger which is fully encrypted.

Permissions:

• Fareshare ask user for permission to send them notification for new rides going their way that are available and also for when a user wants to join a ride, when the user has been accepted into the ride and when the ride is full.

Children Privacy

our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not collect any personnel information from children through our application
