In Element B,  prior solutions attempts and patents were analyzed to ensure that we would not infringe on any patents or current solutions when making our water filter. The main purpose of this element was to compare and contrast the best and worst features of each product. This way, our product could be heavily optimized to use mainly the best features of current products.
