How to borrow and a return at the library?

The University Library offers the Loan and Return Service at ALL its service points.

Steps to loan at the library:

-It is necessary to be previously identified.

-Reservations will be made through the "Columbus" Library Catalog.

-Locate the document in the catalogue. You must see the complete record where the reservation options will appear active.

-Once you receive the confirmation of the reservation in your email, pick up your loan.

How can I borrow a laptop?

1.- Send an email to prestamo@biblio.uhu.es indicating in the subject "Laptop request", in the text you must put your NAME, SURNAME and ID.

2.- Wait for the CONFIRMATION of the laptop loan, in which the date of return of the laptop is indicated, along with the instructions for making an appointment to pick it up.

3. If you do not pick it up within 24 hours, we will proceed to return it.

Important: Instructions for Thomson laptops

- Follow the Windows steps to set the laptop and the WiFi.

- If you need to use Office, access Office 365 with your UHU user account

- If you need to see the electronic resources, you have to install the VPN according to these instructions

Electronic resources are available in this database list and in the BUH catalogue.
