Fantastic 1st Graders

We can do this, First Graders! You're doing a great job with your new distance learning assignments. Let's keep up the good work and continue learning together. New activities will be added to this site each week.

Parents:

Your child will be familiar with many of the materials shared as well as the procedures for accessing the websites provided. Most of the links can be opened through a cell phone or tablet, if you do not have access to a computer. You can print out materials from several of the sources if you prefer a paper/pencil activity. Nothing is being graded right now. Pick and choose what you want to use and have fun!

If you do not have access to a computer, we will share as many low tech ideas as we can come up with as well. We prefer a balance between digital and unplugged activities because it is our goal for kids to be active and spend a large portion of the day away from a screen. We can do this and we're all in this together!

The California Department of Education has been compiling a list of resources and links to help you get learning started at home. Some of the links are for educators and we will be setting up teacher accounts in order for your children to gain access. Most of the links are to sites you can explore as a parent and they are full of ideas, lessons, and games for you to use at home.
