Day 1 | 18th may 2023

May 18 is for arrival, set-up, handshake and kiss on the cheek, installation and tests.

Day 2 | 19th may 2023

May 19 is the central day when everything happens, magic appears, belly dance, exhibition, bagpipes, performance, folk dance, guests and parties

Day 3 | 20th may 2023

On May 20, the party continues, and slowly we begin to tear the whole world apart in order to take it with us.

The purpose of the festival is to see what happens when the art forms are given the opportunity to meet and multiply.

Location

The lawn in front of Rindby Forsamlinghus, Fanø.

Ferry from Esbjerg to Fanø (Nordby) and then:

5 minutes by car – free parking space.
Buss towards Sønderho or 25 minutes walking from the ferry.
Bicycles can be rented in Nordby.

Sleepover

In a brought tent on designated sites at the festival, at Rindby Camping (for a fee) or...
Children brought can sleep together in the community hall's living room where there is a pajama party (parents are responsible).

MANIFESTO

No judgment of taste

- There must be room for everyone!

Commitment

- everyone participates in practical tasks in connection with construction, dismantling and clean-up, waste management, etc. In order for the festival to remain a myth, it is important that we leave no trace!

Megalomania

- all participants receive a diploma showing that they won the festival and are therefore the greatest artist in the world.

Love

– is an open mind, tolerance, patience, and sometimes a really wet kiss on the cheek.

Gratitude

- is to respect the framework that the municipality has set out, show respect for the neighbours' patience, and bow or say yes to any patrolling police.

Documentation

– pictures of everything and everyone will be taken and shared.

If you don't want to risk pictures of you and your art ending up on social media, stay at home.

Free of charge

- if you want to charge an entrance fee for your art or performance, stay home.

Age tyranny

- if you are under 15, you must bring a note from your mother.

Entrance fee

DKK 25,- for adults | Children under 15 free with an adult.

Parking

Free along the road and in parking spaces.

Sleepover

DKK 200 for a tent on the site. Several options for camping, renting a cabin or hotel room nearby.

Requirements for participation:

All participants must be registered, dressed up, and contribute visual arts, sculptures, plays, music, dance, performance, acrobatics, storytelling or a 9th art form.
All participants must also take part in set-up, take-down, clean-up and waste management.
Tent space, exhibition space or time to perform on the festival square must be booked in advance at fanoxart@gmail.com
