Fanny Valli
I completed my Ph.D. in Econometrics at the University of St. Gallen in September 2023 and starting from August 2024, I will be joining the Chair of Applied Microeconometrics at the University of Constance as a postdoc.
My research revolves around the interplay of three key elements: human capital, social networks, and identity–the set of beliefs and values that define one's self. Specifically, I seek to answer the following questions:
How do peers and self-narratives affect one's own human capital formation?
How do peers affect one's self-narratives and cultural values?
How does identity shape one's social network?
