I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz, working at the intersection of economics of education and cultural assimilation. My research explores how human capital, social networks, and identity interact to shape individual choices and long-term outcomes. With a strong interest in psychology, I bring a behavioral lens to my work—studying how self-perception, social comparisons, and identity concerns influence educational investment, peer selection, and cultural assimilation. I use applied microeconometric methods and rich data to uncover how individuals navigate their social environments in response to institutional change and perceived discrimination.
