School and Community Presentations

The FAM Lab is committed to engaging with the community offering valuable science workshops and more to schools and educational platforms. We actively work to create partnerships with community organizations that will allow our research to make a positive impact on our local residents in Western Massachusetts.

Some of the workshops we do are:

• tips for students to reduce stress

• methods for students to deal with racial/ethnic discrimination

• addressing concerns parents have with their adolescent attending college for the first time

• emotional coping strategies for adolescents

• teaching students about psychological and neuroscience research
