A Unique Journey for Children and Parents
Arsha Vidya Pitham welcomes you to a blissful Family Retreat at the serene Swami Dayananda Ashram, Rishikesh. This retreat is a children’s camp with a difference – every child is accompanied by a parent or guardian, creating an atmosphere of learning, bonding, and joyful experiences.

This camp, is designed for children aged 12–15 years with their parents/guardians.
Both will have simultaneous sessions, creating a shared path of learning, discipline, and joy.
Retreat Highlights
Swami Sakshatkrtananda Saraswati (Main Acharya), Coordinated by Pulluri Srinivas with dedicated Teachers and Volunteers of the Arsha Vidya Sampradaya.
At a peaceful ashram stay with simple, clean rooms with an atmosphere filled with tradition, discipline, and joy.
Children aged 12 – 15 years only
Both child and parent must be physically and mentally active to participate in all sessions
One parent per child (exceptions considered only if both parents agree to share the same room with the child)
Sessions at Family Retreat
Children’s Sessions
Our children’s program is designed to nurture body, mind, and values through joyful and meaningful activities:
Yogasanas – Strengthen the body, improve posture, build immunity, and bring balance to the mind for healthy growth
Sloka Chanting – Learn the art of proper Sanskrit pronunciation, enhancing clarity of voice and sharpening intellect
Ancient Stories – Ancient tales that gently guide children to understand life’s situations and values in a relatable way
Yogic Games – Specially designed games that teach focus, concentration, flexibility, teamwork, memory power, and dexterity while keeping the spirit lively
Cultural Values & National Pride – A modern approach to imbibing Indian traditions, respect for culture, and love for the nation
Talent Showcase – A stage for children to express their hidden talents and celebrate creativity
Adults Sessions
While children immerse themselves in joyful learning, parents engage in sessions that bring wisdom, reflection, and harmony into family life:
Understanding Dharma – Inspiring discourses by Acharyas on the essence of our Dharma in an engaging and practical way
Meditation & Pranayama – Guided practices to calm the mind, energize the body, and deepen inner peace
Parenting with Wisdom – Tools and insights to nurture children with love, discipline, and timeless values
Talent Showcase – A stage for children and adults to express their hidden talents and celebrate creativity
Together, these sessions create a shared journey of growth, where both children and parents return home enriched with health, values, and joy.

One child and one parent/guardian ₹ 10,000

Important Notes
Children without Parent or Guardian are not allowed. And Adults without children too are not allowed to participate in the camp
Adults will have simultaneous sessions and participating in all the sessions are compulsory
One Child – One Parent – One Room only. We encourage only one parent / guardian for one child. If both parents are ready to adjust in one room along with the child; we may think about it
Each room will have two beds with attached bathroom and a ceiling fan. Rooms will be allotted by the discretion of the Ashram Management; individual preferences are not encouraged
Adults should be able to climb two floors and comfortable to sit on the floor; chairs can be provided on request
All contributions are considered as a donation, and non-refundable. Bank details of ‘Aarsha Samskriti’ will be shared for selected participants upon registration
Medical Guidelines for all the participants-
Physically & Mentally should be activate because this is not a rehabilitation retreat.
