In March 2022, the Family Justice Center launched VOICES in Claiborne County. VOICES is made up of survivors who have directly or indirectly been impacted by any form of abuse. VOICES is for survivors who have healed from their trauma and are ready to create awareness, education, and outreach about domestic violence within the community. Those who have gone through their personal healing journeys will become mentors, advocates, and a support system for other domestic violence victims. VOICES will give survivors the opportunity to build new and healthy friendships with those who understand what they have gone through. Survivors in VOICES can educate the community on how to serve domestic violence victims more effectively and we believe VOICES will have a positive impact in our area!
