I’m Dr. Fambeu Ariel Herbert, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Johannesburg. My work focuses on Industrial Organisation, Industrial Development, Digital Economy, Innovation, Informal Sector, Trade, Happiness and Development Economist in Africa. https://pure.uj.ac.za/en/persons/ariel-fambeu

I have published more than 20 papers in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. I have also collaborated with international institutions such as the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) on policy-oriented research. I have contributed to the academic community through presentations and discussions at various conferences and workshops in Africa, Europe, and North America. 

My strong quantitative skills span microeconomic analysis (household and firm-level datasets) and macroeconomic techniques, ensuring rigorous empirical research.
