Reflection

Uses of the tool: Midjourney AI is a creative platform that allows users to generate

unique worlds, characters, and images through the use of short text descriptions. It is a text2image converter AI tool which generates images

based out of your prompts. The tool will enhance the understanding of the concept of serendipty to my undergraduate students.

Initial Expectation

Thought the tool will provide more than one image to illustrate

my prompt. 

Challenges:

The generated images did not look real. The tool was simple to

use and quick in responding to the prompt unlike other tools that posed a lot

of issues. The onboarding process is complicated and time-consuming as users first have to sign up for Discord before joining Midjourney. This tedious process takes all the fun away from users who simply want to have fun using an AI image generator. 

Insight gained: The tool is very much simple and can enhanced decision making

process. It will also enhance the understanding of the concept of drug

discovery by a natural product scientist using basic experimental apparatus.
