ELIGIBILITY
This is an introductory school and no previous background in Linguistics is assumed. The school is aimed at post-graduate students, researchers and practitioners from the following disciplines:
- Anthropology
- Sociology
- Literature
- Philosophy
- Communication
- Computer Science
- Psychology
- Cognitive Science
And working professionals from the following fields:
- Interpreting/ Translation
- Language Education
- Publishing
- Journalism
- Advertising
- Law
- Speech and Language Therapy

The Fall School has 20 places. Applicants are selected based on their academic background, CV and a short letter of intent (500 words).
E-mail the application materials (CV and a letter of intent) to fallschoolanguage2019@gmail.com by 1st September 2019. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by 7th September 2019 with further instructions for completing the application process. The deadline to pay the fees is 15th September 2019.
We might be able to offer a limited number of travel bursaries of Rs.1000. Please specify in the application if you would like to avail one.
