Welcome to the homepage of the UNT Learning Seminar on the Arithmetic of Elliptic Curves for Fall 2024.

For this semester, the goals are to understand basic notions of algebraic curves, specifically elliptic curves, (e.g., Weierstrass equations, divisors on curves,  Riemann--Roch, etc.) and the proof of the Mordell--Weil theorem, which includes topics such as Galois cohomology, descent procedures, and heights on algebraic varieties. 

When: Tuesdays from 4:00pm -- 5:00pm
