Falcon Watch
… keeping an extra “birds-eye-view” on campus
What is a Falcon Watch Volunteer?
They are enthusiastic and committed moms, dads, step-fathers, step-moms, grandpas, grandmas, and other positive role models for students at LGS. We help support students around the school with outdoor supervision during school hours and during special events. The Falcon Watch strives to exude great leadership and compassion by committing time and energy to the continued development of school climate and culture.
Program Benefits:
Students engage with positive role models.
School benefits from more adult supervision, extra eyes on campus and helps to enhance a more transparent, peaceful school culture.
Parents gain insight into their students' school lives, giving them a deeper understanding of the successes and challenges their student’s face daily. Thus aiding parent/child communication.
Provides a deterrent to bullying.
Support staff by modeling respect for school rules in the classroom, hallways, playground and gym.
Values:
The Falcon Watch encourages integrity and maturity through positive interactions with students and staff. Understanding that their commitment and representation of the Falcon Watch Program extends beyond the school, into the community and their students' lives.
Volunteer times:
There are times to volunteer throughout the day. Volunteers commit based on their availability. Can you help once a week? Once a month? Twice a month? We'll take you!
