August

Good afternoon! I'm happy to share more details about our upcoming school year. We are working diligently to ensure the best virtual experience that we can. We know that we will learn alongside you and your family on the most effective practices in our new normal and am certain that we will create a meaningful experience.

As of the posting of this newsletter, we are moving forward with plans to begin fully virtually on September 8th. Our District and I will keep you informed as to any changes to that plan. I appreciate your understanding of the unique circumstances we find ourselves in.

I'm excited for our new educational experience and appreciate every effort you make to launching our school year with optimism and excitement in your students. Now, more than ever, our students are looking to us on how to navigate and feel their emotions in this time.

A LOT of information and important dates below.

Mr. Burnett

"Meet the Teacher" - Back to School Day!

Thursday, September 3rd

Class lists will be released. Teachers will be reaching out to their families.

(Returning 2nd year students can expect to have their same homeroom teacher)

Informational Meeting with Mr. Burnett

Thursday, September 3rd - 5 PM

Meeting link will be sent in a stand alone email before the event.

Computer/Materials Distribution

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, September 3rd and Friday, September 4th. We are reserving these dates for computer pickup and curriculum material distribution. I will send out a stand alone email with more details in the days before. We will do it very similar to last Spring where all that will be asked of you is to pull through our circle lot with your student(s) name visible.

If you received a computer last Spring, that's your computer! If you did not receive a computer, we will have one ready for you in your materials.

Welcome to our new Nurse Krysten Williams!

  • Beth Angier is still working on our campus and will stay connected with the school. This was an opportunity to increase our nursing allocation. :-)
