Welcome to Computer Science. For the next seven days I will be evaluating your computer skills. The first skill I need you to do is a typing test using Speed Typing on Line above.
- scroll down and set the time at 5 minutes.
- scroll down again and click on the first box labeled random and choose "1000 common words."
- Type for 5 minutes until you receive a score. Scroll down till test results is at the top of your screen.
- Find print screen by backspace and select it.
- Open Word document and ctrl-v to paste it.
- Save to your blue line file with your user name on it.
- Print to Lab HP4050n on Vaildc.
- Place in your period tray.

Click on the form site above and complete the document. Submit when finished.

Now click on typing.com grade and find your user name and password here. Log in and start with lesson 1. These are to be done in sequence so just start and proceed until I stop you.

Open Word and save a document as log-journal. Tell me what you did today. Include at least 4 things in bullet form.
