ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Ahmad Nur Alfaiz (Faiz). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master’s degree in Transportation from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Through the fast-track program, I completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies within five years, taking the opportunity to start my Master’s coursework during the final phase of my Bachelor’s studies.
During my time at ITB, I was actively involved in various projects and research under the supervision of the Laboratory of Regional and Urban Infrastructure Systems, SAPPK ITB. I also gained valuable experience as a teaching assistant at the Spatial Lab, where I instructed students in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and its applications in urban planning. Additionally, I served as a teaching assistant for several undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily focusing on infrastructure planning, transportation planning, and methods of infrastructure and transport analysis.
I am passionate about sustainable infrastructure and transportation planning. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the guitar, volleyball, and swimming. I am also a daily user of public transportation, which fuels my interest in creating better urban mobility solutions.
Moreover, I am part of the "Urban Analytic Research Group," led by Dr. Eng. Maya Safira, S.T., M.T., where I have had the opportunity to learn from several renowned experts in infrastructure and transportation, including:
Ibnu Syabri, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. (expert in spatial, econometrics, and transport modeling)
Prof. Dr. Pradono, S.E., M.Ec.Dev. (expert in infrastructure and transportation economics)
Dr. I Gusti Ayu Andani, S.T., M.T. (expert in infrastructure, transportation, and land-use planning)
Prof. Dr. Sri Maryati, S.T., MIP. (expert in regional and urban infrastructure planning)
Prof. Dr. Miming Miharja, S.T., M.Sc.Eng. (expert in institutional and transportation planning)
Dr. Eng. Puspita Dirgahayani, S.T., M.Eng. (expert in development management and infrastructure policy).
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have had the privilege of working alongside these professors, assisting them in both teaching and project collaborations, gaining invaluable insights along the way.
