This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Lughati (لُغَتِي) for mobile devices that was created by Faiz Bin Basheer.

The Lughati application is designed to be a fully offline experience.

  • Local Storage Only: All your data, including the vocabulary lists you create, your learning progress (SRS levels), and app settings, is stored securely and exclusively on the internal storage of your own device.

  • No Data Sharing: We do not share any of your personal data with any third parties. The Application does not connect to the internet to send any information from your device to the developer or anyone else.

2. Storage Permissions

The Application includes features that allow you to create personal backups and share word packs with others as files. These features require access to your device's storage for the following specific and limited purposes:

• Saving Files: To save a backup or word pack file to your device's storage (e.g., the "Downloads" folder). This action is only performed when you explicitly choose to create a file from within the app.

• Reading Files: To read a backup or word pack file that you have explicitly selected from your device using the system's official file picker.

The Application does not and cannot access, read, or manage any other files on your device. Its access is strictly limited to the files you choose to create or open.

3. Children's Privacy

This application is suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. The application is designed for completely offline use, and all data generated by the user, such as word lists and learning progress, is saved only on the user's device. This data is never transmitted from the device.

Parental Advisory: Please be aware that the app contains external links as described in Section 4. These links lead to general audience websites (like social media or YouTube) that are not operated by us. We recommend parental guidance when these links are used by children.

4. Links to Other Websites

Our Application contains a limited number of external links for informational purposes:

• A link to a YouTube video that provides instructions on how to use the app.
