FCCA Quarterly Meeting May 7, 2026:
Regenerative Agriculture: Better Farms, Better Food, Better Climate
Join us for the next Faiths Connect for Climate Action (FCCA) quarterly meeting, Regenerative Agriculture: Better Farms, Better Food, Better Climate on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 7:00–8:30 p.m. CT (Zoom) for an engaging conversation on how regenerative agriculture can help address climate change while strengthening farms and food systems.
What is regenerative agriculture, what are its benefits and how can we support it? Hear two complementary perspectives:
Dr. Esther S. Durairaj, Education Director at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute (https://www.michaelfields.org/), will share insights from their research, policy, and education efforts that support environmentally, economically, and socially healthy farming systems.
Chris Wilson of Wilson Organic Farms will tell the story of his family’s seven-generation farm in the Driftless Region and their transition from conventional to organic & regenerative practices such as no-till farming, cover crops, crop rotation, and soil health management.
Whether you’re new to the topic or looking to deepen your understanding, this event promises practical insights and inspiring stories of real-world experiences.

About Faiths Connect for Climate Action
FCCA (https://sites.google.com/view/faiths-connect-climate-action/home) connects individuals from faith communities throughout Dane County and beyond. In learning together and sharing experiences, we become better stewards of our planet. We bring ideas and know-how for climate action back to our churches and other places of worship. Our members often create or participate in environmental "Green Teams" or "Creation Care Teams" in their congregations. Our vision is that FCCA’s support, inspiration, and education will move our faith communities to act to create a more just and sustainable world.
