Upcoming Activities and Announcements
July 12, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. Join us for an in-person get-together
Join us at Crossroads United Methodist Church in Waunakee (5901 Hogan Rd) to get to know other folks in the Madison area whose faith motivates them to care about our climate.
The Crossroads Green Team will inspire us what they've been doing, with some show & tell and Q&A. Then we'll have time for socializing and networking. Snacks and treats will be provided.
We can have more impact together than individually, so this is a chance to create those connections!
August 23, 2026 from 12:30-3:00 p.m.: Join us (in person) to celebrate almost five years of FCCA!
This will be an outdoor event at Brittingham Park (829 W Washington Ave.) in Madison.
Our FCCA Anniversary Party is a potluck lunch, so please bring your own reusable dishes/cups/utensils and a dish to share. Feel free to bring anything, but we’d especially love to sample one of your favorite vegetarian, vegan, or organic recipes! Beverages will be provided.
Come meet old friends and new people who are passionate about protecting our climate because of their faith values. We’ll celebrate our years as an organization, and invite back old speakers and presenters whom you can meet in person and chat with.
Brittingham Park is a lovely spot on the shore of Lake Monona. There's a great playground for children, and we've reserved the picnic shelter so we'll have tables in the shade and restrooms for our group.

About Faiths Connect for Climate Action
FCCA (https://sites.google.com/view/faiths-connect-climate-action/home) connects individuals from faith communities throughout Dane County and beyond. In learning together and sharing experiences, we become better stewards of our planet. We bring ideas and know-how for climate action back to our churches and other places of worship. Our members often create or participate in environmental "Green Teams" or "Creation Care Teams" in their congregations. Our vision is that FCCA’s support, inspiration, and education will move our faith communities to act to create a more just and sustainable world.
