Privacy Policy
Faith Made by ClearCorp Effective Date: May 12, 2026
ClearCorp cares about your privacy. This policy explains what info we collect when you play our VR game Faith on the Meta Horizon Store and Meta Quest. By playing the game, you're okay with what's described here.
1. What We Collect
Faith uses Unity Gaming Services to handle a lot of the game's backend. Through Unity and the Meta Horizon platform, the game may pick up:
Device IDs — your device type, model, OS version, and hardware IDs (like the device ID Meta gives you).
IP address — used to connect you, deliver the right regional content, and help with security.
User ID — an anonymous in-game ID, plus the Meta user ID that signs you in on the Meta Horizon platform.
VR tracking — headset position and hand/controller tracking. This stays on your device so the game can render properly. We don't store it or send it back to us in a way that points to you.
Gameplay data — how long you play, what you do in-game, your progress, and performance stats.
Crash reports — technical logs so we can find and fix bugs.
Anonymous analytics IDs — used by Unity to support game features and group-level analytics.
We don't knowingly collect things like your real name, address, or payment info directly through the game.
2. Why We Collect It
Here's why we collect each thing. If you're in the EU or UK, we've also listed the legal basis under GDPR:
To run the game (device IDs, IP, user ID, VR tracking) — legal basis: performance of a contract / legitimate interest in delivering a working game.
To fix bugs (crash reports, diagnostics, device IDs) — legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the game working.
To improve the game (gameplay data, analytics IDs) — legal basis: legitimate interest in making it better.
To make sure it works on different devices (device IDs, diagnostics) — legal basis: legitimate interest in compatibility.
For security and to stop fraud (IP, device IDs) — legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting players and the game.
3. Who We Share It With
We don't sell or rent your info. The only places it goes are:
Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services) — our backend, analytics, and crash reporting provider. Unity's privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Horizon / Meta Quest) — the store and platform you're playing on. They handle sign-in, store purchases, and platform stuff. Meta's privacy policy: https://www.meta.com/legal/privacy-policy/
4. Third-Party Services
The services we use to run the game:
Unity Gaming Services — backend, analytics, and performance.
Meta Horizon Platform — distribution, sign-in, and in-app purchases or donations.
Using the game means you're also covered by their policies and terms.
5. Purchases and Donations
Any in-app purchases or donations go through Meta on the Meta Horizon Store. We don't see or store payment info. Card numbers, billing, and transaction stuff are all handled by Meta and covered by Meta's privacy policy and terms of sale.
6. International Data Transfers
We're based in the US. Info collected through Unity and Meta may be sent to, processed in, or stored in the US, the EU, or other countries where our providers operate. Those countries might have different privacy laws than yours. Where it applies, Unity and Meta use standard safeguards for international transfers (like the EU Standard Contractual Clauses), which you can read about in their privacy policies.
7. Your Rights
We only keep info for as long as we need it to run and improve the game.
You can ask us to:
See your info — get a copy of what we have tied to your account or device.
Fix your info — correct anything that's wrong.
Delete your info — remove what we have tied to your account or device.
Take back consent — if we're relying on your consent for something, you can change your mind.
To do any of these, email us at Crazyfamproductions5@gmail.com. Give us enough detail to find your data. We'll get back to you in a reasonable time and follow whatever the law in your area requires.
8. Kids' Privacy
Faith isn't made for kids. We don't knowingly collect info from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age where you live). To line up with Meta Horizon's age rules, we also don't knowingly collect info from anyone under 18 through the game. If you think a minor has shared info with us, email us and we'll delete it.
9. Security
We lean on Unity's and Meta's security to protect data that runs through the game. We do what we reasonably can to keep your info safe, but no system is 100% secure, so we can't promise it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We might update this policy now and then. If we do, we'll change the "Effective Date" at the top. If you keep playing after that, you're okay with the updated version.
