For all ages, Catholic Climate Covenant is doing a virtual "Hope for Creation" celebration of Earth Day. They are taking submissions of art/writing/other media and are particularly encouraging youth and young adults to submit material. You can also view the items that have been submitted so far.

For families/all ages to celebrate Earth Day at home, create a Mary Garden and in our area consider using native plants in place of the traditional European plants.

Stations of the Cross Challenge

Set-Up: You can pray the Stations with your family sitting in the living room, but for this challenge we're asking you to set up 14 different stations. These stations could be rooms in your house, trees in your backyard. You can print and hang up images like THESE for each station, or just write a simple roman numeral on a post-it for each station, 1 through 14.

Prayer: Here are 3 options for the prayers. Try this one if you have younger kids in your family. This one is great for families with middle and high school teens. There is also the traditional version by St. Alphonsus Liguori. Print it out or read from your phone/tablet.

Share: Post to Instagram with #FamilyStationsOfTheCross a picture of your family praying at ONE of your stations, along with a sentence or two about what you did. Tag @sacredheartnhyouth, or email: dffsheartlebanon@gmail.com. Or text to Amy: 802-727-0647.

Prizes will be given to most creative station locations (e.g. backyard shed = the 14th Stations, Jesus is Laid in the Tomb).
