US Bangla Airlines has been the largest private airlines in Bangladesh. It is operating regular flights in more then 20 domestic and internationals routes across the globe. In 2022, the airlines has launched Cadet Pilot Program. Under this program, selected candidates were sent to Florida, USA for pilot training funded by the airlines, later the trained pilots directly joined as the line pilot of the airlines.

Multi-disciplinary Fabrication Laboratory (Fab Lab) in KUET was formed in 2017 under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) for Transforming Innovative Ideas from Mind to Market to facilitate and support the growth of the international fab lab network as well as the development of regional capacity-building organizations. The Fab Foundation is a US non-profit organization that emerged from MIT’s Center for Bits & Atoms Fab Lab Program.

LOOP is a control engineering club of KUET. At the very beginning, the club started with some teachers and students from the Mechanical Engineering Department, KUET. The purpose of this club is to inform enthusiastic students about technical fields such as programming, robotics, control engineering, industrial automation, etc. To share knowledge with club members LOOP arranges different seminars, workshops and industrial tours on a regular basis.
