The Chat Function

A problem mentioned by many stakeholders is the lack of direct communication between restaurants, couriers and customers. With the current big platforms, all communication goes via the platform, which makes the system slow and inadaptable, and often is at the expense of the clarity of the message.

Thus, at the moment that the customer has placed an order which the restaurant is preparing, and a courier is chosen to pick up and deliver this order, a chatroom will be opened. In this chatroom the customer, restaurant and courier can communicate directly with each other.

The chatroom enables fast, easy and clear mutual communication between all parties.

When a restaurant discovers that an ordered product is actually out of order, the chatroom can be used to directly inform the customer and offer an alternative. In this situation it is important to communicate fast and directly in order to find a solution.
