Fairman, Resign!

Lynda Fairman MUST RESIGN from the YCSD School Board

Hi. My name is Adrian. I graduated from Tabb High School in 2023.

School boards are meant to run a school district. That’s it. Their job is to support teachers, students, and staff – not to politicize the board and create controversy. 

Unfortunately, Lynda Fairman has politicized the YCSD School Board and brought numerous controversies upon it, ranging from alleged militia ties (which she denies) to pledging to fire beloved superintendent Dr. Shandor without cause. Additionally, Fairman rarely visits any of the schools in her district; for example, on March 07, 2024, she turned down an invitation to attend a YCSD Future Chef event, instead choosing to attend a Republican dinner at Joe & Mimma’s. Where do her priorities truly lie? With the teachers, students, and staff of her district and the county? Or elsewhere?

I created this website to provide York County residents, who may be unaware of the scope of the controversies, a good place to start learning. Below, you can find links related to the numerous controversies, including past articles, podcasts, videos, and more. 

Lynda Fairman’s presence on the YCSD School Board tarnishes the county’s lofty reputation as one of the best school districts in the country. She must immediately resign.
