A traffic study conducted in 2020 -- which did not factor in this proposed development -- concluded 

"As a major gateway to the Town of Fairfield, the Post Road Circle is difficult and confusing for drivers to navigate, and is challenging for pedestrians, bicyclists and transit users to travel through."

The proposed development of 250 apartments would more than double the number of residences in the immediate neighborhood. The number of residences in the Riverside/ Shoreham/ Cambridge/ Turney area is 196.
