About us

We are a group of Fairfax residents and neighbors who have a passion for history and our small town. We meet quarterly at the Fairfax Community Library in February, May, August, and November, with additional special events in between.

Our next meeting will be Sunday, February 18th, 2018 at 7 pm. All are welcome to join us for meetings. If you wish to join the Society, membership dues are $2/year.

Our current big project is the renovation and restoration of the Fairfax Historical Society Museum located on Main Street. Please visit our Museum Page for more information.
