The Red Continent - Spliceland
Once Spliceland was one huge island. But after a terrible earthquake, it splitted into two pieces. All the people fled to the bigger island in the west. On that piece of Spliceland it was really cold and there were many glaciers and icebergs. For many years, there were no problems. But one day there was a loud bang – the nuclear power station in the North blew up. The inhabitants had to flee again and went to the smaller island of Spliceland in the East. There was a huge desert over the whole island, but the main problem was something else:
Because of the explosion of the nuclear power station, it was going to be hotter and hotter in the West. So the glaciers and the icebergs were melting and the water level rose. Because of that, the island was going to be smaller and smaller and there was even less place to live. And if there was no help, the continent would be totally flooded and all the inhabitants would die.

Wonder Winnie was a human from far away. She was really tall, skinny and had long black hair. Her cape and boots were also black, but her clothes that she was wearing were just white. On the belt there was her logo: a double W in a circle.
Her only weakness was that she was paraplegic, so she had to sit in a wheelchair. That was because of an accident in her childhood. At that incident her family sadly died.
But anyway, she had one special superpower: her intelligence. She was the smartest person, who had ever lived. And because she was rich, she had got many helpful gadgets, for example her special wheelchair which could drive really fast, fly and swim above water. That was the way how she moved from one place to another.
When Wonder Winnie heard about Spliceland and its problems, she was worried and decided to help the inhabitants. She travelled to the island to see what was going on. It was hard to find a solution but then she had an idea…
