Full Paper Submission
Papers submitted to FAIM2024 undergo a double-blind reviewing procedure for publication at Springer's Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering.
No fee is required for publication of 8-page papers on LNME (Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering)(except extra pages) or other journals.
According to a FAIM Charter, a maximum of 5 co-authorship submissions are allowed per Author.
Every paper has to be presented by one of its authors and no more than 2 papers can be presented by the same person.
Top-level full-papers can be submitted directly to Fast-Track system. In this case, the paper should follow the usual format of the journal selected. In this case, Authors can skip the 8-page paper submission. Regarding the FAIM Charter, each Author is elegible to publish ONE paper in Fast-Track system. However, if the full paper does not get approval in the peer-reviewing process, Authors will be invited to submit a short version to be included on LNME.
Guidelines For Authors
All papers must comply with the Springer Guidelines for Authors and paper template. Papers not adhering to this formatting will be rejected without review.
The author can choose to work with word or latex. More information can be found here. The usage of these templates is mandatory.
Each paper is limited to a maximum of 8 pages, including all figures, tables, and references. Authors will be required to pay an extra fee if the number of pages is higher than 8 pages.
For the first blind review, no author names, academic titles, or descriptions of academic positions should be included in the paper. After the paper is accepted, author information, affiliations, and e-mail addresses will be allowed to include in the accepted paper.
The title, abstract, authors, and affiliations, as well as the order of authors in the ConfTool system, should be the same as in your accepted paper.
Use Title Case for the paper title, i.e., capitalizing all main words.
The abstract should summarize the content (goal, scientific novelty, practical value, main results, etc.) of the paper in 150-250 words.
Self-citations per paper are limited to 3.
The language of the paper is English. Submissions in any other language will be rejected without review.
Plagiarism is strictly monitored and will be checked by Unicheck. Plagiarized papers will not be accepted for review.
