About Fahri Alkan (PI)

I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry from Bilkent University and earned my Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Delaware. My research focuses on the theoretical description of light–matter interactions and excited-state dynamics in metal nanoclusters and molecular fluorophores. I am currently with the Department of Chemistry at Bilkent University. Outside the lab, I enjoy chess, piano, cinema, and fixing students’ inputs (not really!!!).
