Work Experience

Postdoctoral Associate (August 2014- December 2016, May 2018-Present)

I am working on multiple research projects in the BioImaging laboratory, Bioengineering department at the university of Louisville. My main job duties are to develop computer-aided diagnostic techniques to assess human organ (i.e., kidney and heart) functionality or to detect abnormalities (e.g., prostate cancer, autism, dyslexia). I also assist in writing multiple research grants, three of which got already funded from Coulter Translational Research and NIH R15 grant. Additionally, I help other PhD and master students in writing their scientific manuscripts and implement their developed engineering methods.

  • Assistant Professor at Mansoura University (January 2017-Present)

Main duties were to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses. I also conduct research and supervise both master and PhD students.
