I am a Computer Science graduate student in the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and a researcher at the illustrares research group led by Dr. Mario Costa Sousa. My research interests are mostly centered around the application of machine learning and deep learning in various areas i.e. online social media, biometric technology, healthcare and biomedicine, autonomous driving, computer vision, and so on. Currently, I am conducting research on exploring image-based deep learning and machine learning techniques to estimate particle size distribution (PSD) of drill core. My project is fully-funded by Mitacs-Accelerate Graduate Research Internship Program. I am also working with Suncor Energy as a research intern.

Prior to joining uCalgary, I worked at the United International University (UIU), Bangladesh as a Lecturer (currently on study-leave) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). I completed my BSc degree from Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in CSE department.
