So I recently got an lg 2560x1080 monitor and I love it. The only problem is that when playing fallout 4 the pipboy is shrunk making it really annoying to manage. Does anyone know of a way to fix this issue. If it helps, to get the 21:9 compatibility I just edited the prefs ini file.

Hey so excited for fallout 4 couldn't wait. one problem after another though with fallout 3. i5 and 960 so obviously not the specs. first it was freezing nonstop so I did some .ini edit to set to limit of 2 cores (trusted solution rather than unlimited cores max at 2). shortly after I ran into an unrelated sound problem though; I could only hear subtle background music nothing else. updated all sound drivers and codecs and the sound worked only for a couple of hours. now silent again. very specific problem I know but any help appreciated. if not ill just wait until fallout 4.

It's great that they're patching Fallout 4 in increments, providing us with smaller fixes. I only wished they'ed fix Big Leagues lvl 5. It completely removes the damage buff from lvl 1-4 of the perk, rendering it useless. There is a fix on Nexus, but I prefer to use as few mods as possible before the release of the GECK.

To fix 2) Become poisoned (poison effect from animals), and lower your poison resistance, this is complicated and only works in some cases, and needs you to have a poison resistance item, so that you can unequip it during the poison effect.

Both descriptions are especially interesting in Survival Mode, since you cannot use the console. Using the console otherwise is rather bad I think, because you will only counteract the buggy penalty, not remove it.

Unfortunately, some players have experienced an issue where Fallout 4 crashes on startup. This can be incredibly frustrating as you attempt to play the game only for it to crash immediately after launching. Fortunately, there are several solutions available that you can use to fix this issue so that you can get back into your game quickly and easily.

For the last past in 9 months there's been an issue with the game saves with a error message that says 0 kilobytes. This bug will not let us save game becoming a major issue not only in Fallout 4 but also in Skyrim special edition. I've been to the Bethesda forums for both Skyrim and Fallout 4. I I have seen nothing constant complaints about this error or bug all over the place but nothing from Bethesda and will not they're going to try to fix it or not and they're getting ready to release a new game Fallout 76 and if the PS4 versions are going to have the same issue as what they're having right now with ps4 version Fallout 4 then give me a reason why I should invest my money into the new game if you're not going to fix the old one. I know there are other fans of the game or tired of this issue and yet Bethesda seems not to do anything about it and before they decide to make anything about Sony you guys have the Sony information about the PlayStation 4 you guys can figure out what's causing this issue so please get it done give us fans of fall out for a break right now for everybody I truly believe needs to fix this with a patch and do it soon thank you for your time thank you for looking at this request.

The recently released action role-playing game, Fallout 4 has become extremely popular. It is available for PC and game consoles. On PC, it has a number of issues you might face. One of the issues is mouse lag. The mouse is not responsive for many users. Another issue is low frame rate. With my GeForce GTX 750 Ti, it gives only 30 FPS! Here is what you can do about it.

You can try the following tweaks:

I can only hope that this means Microsoft is willing to do the work to fix the Xbox application. If they can rework how download pathing functions, surely the company can put more resources into ensuring the user experience of its primary PC application is actually solid.

I am on PS4 and my gun is vanished and I cant shoot or anything I cant switch weapons. I was in a Vertibird and i couldnt shoot the behemoth so I loaded a previous save and dont have a gun. the only thing I can do it go to a save from over 7 hours ago which I would very much not like to do.

It is kind of annoying as I did the main quest (not knowing it would eliminate half the available repeatable quest), and now the minutemen and the institute are my only quest sources. And after the main quest is seems both factions make me wait to do the repeatable quest. Which makes gaining exp slow.

The invisible Pipboy seems to be a recreatable problem. If you are wearing any chameleon armour or using a stealth bioy or power armour that has a stealthboy in the torso then when crouched and in stealth the pipboy becomes unusable, either invisible or an exceptionally bright white screen. But this only happens for me when in stealth and invisible.

Note that writing a file to disk is one of the slowest things a program will do. Having "logging" enabled will have some impact on performance, the degree of which will depend upon your system. It is recommended to leave "EnableGameErrorLog=0" and set it to "=1" only when and as long as you need logging enabled.

If you have to isolate a mod conflict, try first "disabling" half your mods, and testing. If the problem disappears, then you know the mod conflict lies in the "disabled" half of the mods. Re-enable half of the "disabled" half of the mods (i.e. now down to 1/4 of the total) while disabling the entirety of the other (previously enabled) half, and test. Keep repeating this "halving the remainder" process until you have narrowed it down to the mod that causes the problem only when it is active. This is the quickest way to isolate a problem mod.

Details:

1.) Video Driver Profiles. Note this step has been moved in the GamerPoets' video to be part of the ENBoost section, but no longer mentions "Nvidia Profile Inspector" or AMD's "Radeon Control Panel". It only refers to the "Nvidia Control Panel" (and by implication the "AMD Catalyst Control Center") which are part of the respective driver installation. "Inspector" instructions are included here from the thread for completeness for those looking into the original recommendations, but the recommendation applies regardless of the tool used.

8.) V3.0 Shaders.

WARNING: If you intend to use ENB's graphics post processing, it only works with v2.0 Shaders. DO NOT perform this step, nor enable the Fallout INI's "[Display]" setting "bAllow30Shaders=1". Leave it at "=0".

The CPU is responsible for directing the graphics data from memory and disk to the video adapter (just as for any "peripheral" device). Until it does so, the GPU has nothing to work on. So it is the first potential bottleneck. A MoBo integrated video adapter MAY be able to work in conjunction with an "addon" video card, or it may obstruct one. This is one of those specific design features nobody talks about and you can only work it out by trial and error. A video adapter and it's GPU(s) are essentially a "black box" to the CPU. However, it does recognize which "port" (connector) the display is plugged into. As far as the CPU is concerned, the video adapter and the "display" are basically the same: a one way street it sends graphics commands down with (at best) a stop light to prevent overflows. The video adapter handles the signaling requirements of the display.

Solutions 1-4 can safely be combined, but those with less than 4GB of system RAM need to exercise caution and only implement one at a time, as they will come at the expense of memory otherwise needed by the game and OS.

The problem that can arise is when your changes don't work out as you intended and you wish to revert to the default values. There is no built-in mechanism to restore the defaults in that file, nor is there a file for the GECK to refer to similar to the "Fallout_default.INI" file. (There may be a "reset" button in the GECK window, but it only affects the current edit session: resetting to the values in effect when the window opened.)

This is a built-in game Main Menu setting, under: "Settings | Game Play | True Iron Sights [ON | OFF]". It is also accessible from the "Pause Menu" screen during a game session. It is only visibly in effect in FPV.

Commonly seen with Fallout Character Overhaul (FCO) (designed to remodel NPC faces) in combination with various other character mods and mods that affect appearance, especially eyes. This often is related to attempts to use both FCO and "Fallout New Vegas Redesigned" (FNVR; similar goal) in combination.

WARNING: Havok physics and the room markers do not play well together. Avoid placing Havokable objects [to include movable statics] near portals that they might be knocked through. [If an object is in, say, room A, then drawing of that object is restricted to people who are in room A, or who can see the object through a portal to room A. If the Havok engine causes the object to move (because the player picked it up with the Z key, or an explosion threw it) then the object will continue to be drawn so long as the object is in the motion under the control of the Havok system. However, once the object comes to rest, it is passed back to the normal renderer, and is once again drawn only for people in room A... even if it is now in room B. If you are in room B, with the object, it will be invisible to you.] be457b7860
