Factorization algebra is a relatively recent formulation of quantum field theory.
The purpose of this workshop is to bring together experts in both mathematical physics (QFT, factorization algebra and vertex algebra) and topological perspectives (TFT, factorization homology, etc.) to deepen exchanges between the two fields, and to promote communications among them which will hopefully boost their researches.
