For years Fairmount Center has served area schools by providing free Classroom Presentations. Download the document to see what topics are available. More ideas for classroom activities and field trips can be found by following links to NGSS Lesson Plans and the STEM Activities Calendar. The lesson plans include links to different websites that feature activities. Each lesson is sorted into corresponding NGSS Disciplinary Core Ideas. The STEM Activities Calendar includes information about events going on around the Wichita area.
2022 UPDATE: Fairmount Center no longer regularly performs classroom presentations. However, each year a few WSU students are trained to do a couple of the presentations. If you are interested, please email Jill Fisher to see what's available.
Videos of the Classroom Presentations can be viewed or downloaded from below.
