My name is Elissa Widomski. I teach Middle School FCS in Verona NY. I have been teaching since the 2009-2010 school year. I have students for 10 weeks and they transition to 3 other unified arts classes: Art, Music & Technology. I see them in 7th grade and 8th grade. I also push into our 5th and 6th covering topics such as career prep and learning.
In my Grade 7 classes I cover: Wellness, Kitchen Safety and Nutrition, Cooking labs and hand sewing/laundry - starting using "Make It Mondays"
In my Grade 8 classes I cover: Wellness, Machine Sewing, Employability Skills with Interviews & Resumes, and Financial Literacy (Fun Financial Fridays).
