If I forgot my Facebook id and password, how do I reset it?

There are lots of social media platform available in the market Facebook is one of the popular social media with more than a billion users worldwide. It's a great place to hang out and find out what your friends and families have been up to. But, unfortunately, sometimes you might forget the password for your Facebook account. Fortunately, Facebook offers its password reset program so that you can create a new password by simply following a simple step.

Here are some ways you can quickly recover your Facebook id and password.

First of all, open your Facebook account on your device.
After that, tap on Forget password button below the Password section.
After that, you will be redirected to the Find your account page.
Once that is done, enter your Email address or Phone number and then tap on Search.
Then after tap on This is my account, if your account appears in the search results.
Now select the way you want to receive the reset code for your password reset.
Enter the code received and tap on continue to reset the password.
Now Input the new password and confirm it.
In this way, you can easily reset your Facebook password using the browser.

How To Recover Facebook Account And Password Using Email?

Facebook has its own way of recovering the account and password. However, you should be in control of the email address and phone number associated with the Facebook account.

First, go to com or www.facebook/recover link.
Click on the Forgot Account?
In the next step, you will be asked to search for the account using Email or Phone Number.
If you choose an email address then you will receive the Facebook password reset code on that email address.
After receiving the Verification Code on the Email Address enter the code in the box.
Note: remember that, if you do not have access to the email address associated with the Facebook account, then, unfortunately, you cannot recover that email address.

How to Recover Facebook Account Using Friend’s Account?

Facebook does not offer a recovery email address using a friend’s Facebook account. There are two ways you can do it, either ask your friend to help you or create a new account and do it through that.

Go and visit your lost Facebook account using your Friend’s
Click on the 3-Dots menu next to the Message button click on Report.
Various options will show next, choose Something Else.
A menu will open and select Recover this Account.
In the next step, Facebook will ask a method (email, phone) to receive a verification code.
Select the method through which you want to receive the Facebook Recovery Code.
After receiving the Authentication Code enter the Code.
Enter the New Password in the next step.
After creating a new password, you will be asked to Log Out all devices.
After completing the process your account will be recovered.

You can also reset your Facebook password using the Facebook app. For that, you have to follow the steps.

Tap Forgot Password on the Facebook login screen.
After that, enter your registered mobile number or email address.
Now tap on Confirm via text or Email and then finally tap on continue.
Once that is done, enter the reset code and tap on continue. BB
